Job Title: IT Portfolio Resourcing Manager
Location: This role will be based in Horizon House or Bridgwater. Most of the work is office-based but some travel may be necessary on occasions. (HORIZON HOUSE, Deanery Road, Bristol, BS10 6BF)
The role
Due to promotion we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the CIS IT Portfolio Office. We're looking for somebody with excellent attention to detail, used to building rapport quickly with managers and somebody with the ability to problem solve on a daily basis. Working with the organisations investment portfolio’s such as FCRM & E&B and the internal departments within CIS, the role of IT Portfolio Office Resource Manager, is to support the IT Portfolio Demand Manager in understanding, categorising, prioritising, balancing and planning the delivery of the IT demand pipeline, to provide clarity on the high level scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, costs and benefits thus improving our decision making and optimising our strategic contribution.
Experience/skills required
Experience of supporting the management of portfolio’s, programmes and projects is desirable.
Experience of coordinating resources on a large scale would be advantageous.
Working with and influencing customers and partners is a key requirement of the role.
Willingness to work flexibly as necessary in a high-profile and high-pressure workplace is essential.
We need an enthusiastic new team member who has good MS Office skills, is able to work independently and is able to problem-solve when necessary.
