Science Solutions - QC Analyst - Cheshire - £18-£20k - Pharmaceuticals
Science Solutions are currently recruiting for a QC Analyst for an expanding company in Cheshire
This is a varied QC role including exposure to method development and running stability trials
Would suit a graduate with some good pharmaceutical lab experience
Key responsibilities:
- To routinely test raw materials, finished products, stability samples and investigational samples using analytical techniques
- To assist in the development and validation of release and stability indicating methods
- To test and report results to GMP standards as per company SOP’s
- To calibrate and maintain equipment in the laboratories
- To write reports, SOPs and other documentation when required
- To maintain laboratories to GMP standards
- Any other duties as required
Knowledge and experience:
- A Science degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of Quality Control
- Knowledge of GMP
- Experience of working in an analytical QC environment
- Good working knowledge of HPLC, GC and dissolution testing
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
- Ability to be calm, patient and assertive
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and the Internet
- Ability to adapt to change
