Town Planner - National (BBBH532) Sydney, Australia
Our client, an industry leader in providing wireless infrastructure, is on the lookout for a highly driven and efficient Town Planner to manage multiple projects and sites and a variety of planning tasks for the organisation.
About the role:
- You will be involved in managing the planning process to obtain all planning approvals in order to build the new site.
- Undertake environment impact assessments, good site selection, built form and team, stakeholder and client engagement
- Assist with the preparation and attendance of community consultations.
- Conduct planning reviews to determine planning and or community issues that may impact on the site
- Manage the planning process in accordance with the Deployment Code for Low Impact installations
- Prepare, lodge and manage Development Application and Deployment Code activities
About you:
The desired candidate will have Telco experience with a combination of the following technical skills, attributes and experience:
- Extensive experience in undertaking community consultation and stakeholder engagement – preparation and delivery of stakeholder meetings for dispute resolution arising from planning applications.
- Experience acquiring telecommunications facilities will be highly regarded
- Experience in the planning phase of mobile network deployment and upgrade projects within Australia
- Good understanding of the various planning legislations across the Country.
- Experience in process development and implementation
- Outstanding negotiation and problem solving skills
- Able to effectively manage multiple Telco projects and sites
