JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing and delivering on all electronics technical hardware and software activities for multiple projects, developed in multiple locations by multiple teams.

Whilst coordinating closely with Program Management, Quality and the other engineering teams, you will lead a team of engineers and a range of technical partners to develop products to achieve customer project goals and business level objectives.

Must have a minimum of 15 years in an automotive development and production program environment: 5+ years in a technical capacity and 5+ years in Project/Program Management.

Essential Job Requirements

  • Experienced with application of the automotive system/electronics development process, Automotive SPICE (ASPICE).
  • Experienced with the automotive functional safety standard, ISO26262.
  • Experienced with software quality management, including MISRA C.
  • Experienced in AUTOSAR v4.0 or above.
  • Experience of Software Development and/or Electronics Development. Experienced in the role of a Project Manager, Department Manager or a Project Lead in related area within either automotive OEM or tier 1 industry.
  • Experienced in the role of a Project Manager, Department Manager or a Project Lead in related area within either automotive OEM or tier 1 industry.
  • Experience in hybrid powertrain systems and/or electric motors/machines.
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects across diverse teams and locations.
  • Experienced in communicating with customers, senior management and project teams.
  • Proven track record in project/lead management through to successful production launch.
  • Experience in project risk management and mitigation.
  • Experience to managing fluctuating workloads, flexibility to travel in UK and internationally
