Calibration Engineer

Birmingham/Gloucester/Bristol

c.£30K basic Dependent on Experience + O/T + Vehicle

Our client provides a range of precision hand tools including micrometers, calipers and depth gauges.

They have an opportunity for an experienced engineer, with a proven record in the field of calibration, covering electrical, mechanical, dimensional, pressure, torque and temperature instruments to international standards

The ideal candidate should have the ability to:

• Calibrate equipment such as Digital Multi-meters, Clamp Meters, Oscilloscopes, Pressure Gauges, Multifunction Testers, Temperature Gauges, Insulation Testers, Frequency counters and mechanical/ dimensional measuring instruments
• Perform such minor repairs to clients’ equipment as may be required from time to time to maintain the calibration status of such equipment.
