A new vacancy for a CNC Applications Engineer with newly-created division of global leader in measurement technology focusing on product lines relating to Process Monitoring for Machine Tools used in Cutting and Stamping & Presswork environments.
Based at the company's offices in Coventry, the CNC Applications Engineer will help ensure a growth strategy is maintained in the successful implementation of products into existing machines (retrofit) and maintaining existing product within the market (service). There will also be cases in support of products that have previously been installed from other markets which require commissioning. Crucial to success of all activities will be generation and delivery of training material to customers.
Key candidate requirements:
Good practical CNC Machine NC and PLC programming skills (If necessary, training can be provided)
Ability to use planning/timing tools to deliver projects on time (Essential)
Indentured/certified apprenticeship (Essential)
A flexible approach to cope with frequent change (Essential)
A high level of motivation and initiative (Essential)
Computer literacy (Essential)
Knowledge of Process Monitoring (Desirable)
