Lead IT Engineer

Field Role (Derbyshire down to Sussex)

Salary Dependent on Experience + Car

Our client specialises in supplying systems to companies who handle and process powders, granules and tablets in the Food & Nutrition, Pharmaceutical and Chemical Sectors.

The have an opportunity for an IT Engineer to provide technical and administrative support to multiple business units, using Microsoft operating systems and a variety of application software.

Key Knowledge and Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical processes to non-technical users.
• Strong knowledge of back-end hardware in a Virtual Server environment using Microsoft Hyper-V
• Ability to solve problems and improve processes.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN technologies.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or related field and at least five years technical or professional experience related to the design, installation, and maintenance of local area network required.
• Sufficient work experience may replace a University degree.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, pull cable through ceilings and under raised floors and reach around obstacles to wire computers.
• Lifting requirements are generally less than 25 lbs. Manual lifting could reach the company maximum of 65 lbs.
