Software Engineer

Our client has many customers across the Transport and Logistics sector, who are accessing their vehicle and driver data, generated by telematics units, to monitor performance and improve efficiencies and safety

They have an opportunity for a Graduate with relevant experience to join their team as a Software Engineer to:

• Provide its customers with daily support, answering queries raised through their Help Centre.
• Develop and support applications using the Company’s API Integration system.

This position would be ideal for either a recent graduate or self-taught coder looking for a challenge and who is willing to grow into the role. You will also require excellent communication skills.

Experience in any of the following technologies will be an advantage

• Software Development using either JavaScript, and Microsoft.NET framework languages (C# & VB.Net) and Linux environment
• Developing with JavaScript, Angular (V2) Node JS, XML/HTML/JSON SOAP and REST Web Services, C/C++
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel using Macro’s
• Good knowledge of database tools, specifically SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB)

There will be a short practical code test for any applicant attending an interview.
