Controls Engineer

West Yorkshire, c.£40-£50K depending on experience

Our client designs and manufactures bespoke automation solutions for a diverse range of national and international customers.

They have an opportunity for a Controls Engineer who will be tasked with producing design documentation in accordance with customer requirements. You will also be responsible for the testing and commissioning of the systems on the customer premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the relevant software design documents are issued in line with the build schedule
• Collaborating with the electrical engineers and design team to make sure the highest quality standards are maintained

Requirements

• Possess a good understanding of engineering principles in control system design.
• Competent and confident in all technical aspects of control system design
• Previous experience of automation and control design and manufacture within a precision engineering environment.
• Confident communicator
• As no two projects are ever the same you will be happy adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Experience working in a cutting-edge environment where you have been instrumental in develop advanced systems.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained in electrical or mechatronic engineering discipline
• Post apprenticeship software design experience
