UI/ UX Designer - Product Designer FinTech - London - Central London 

An opportunity has arisen for a UI / UX Designer to join a fast growing FinTech scale up company with financial backing behind them. This is an opportunity to work directly for the CTO along with progression plans to become a Lead UI/ UX Designer in the coming years.

Key elements of the role 

• Working in a growing team to provide design support to Technology, Product, and Sales & Marketing functions to ensure a seamless experience for our users, external customers, internal administrators, and support staff.
• Lead product design projects from start to finish and foster collaboration across multiple teams and departments.
• Test the effectiveness of our design with our users.
• Full management responsibility of UX\UI Design, including coaching, support, and mentoring of team members.
• Develop relationships internally and externally; providing sufficient justification to gain the trust and confidence of Management as well as other stakeholder departments in the product design and delivery.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to meet and deliver business objectives.

This role would suit a multidisciplinary product designer with a background in UX, digital product design, marketing, art direction, and illustration.

• Familiar with Jira.
• UX/UI experience across web, mobile, and backend platforms.
• Able to demonstrate the impact of research projects to key stakeholders.
• Must be comfortable working without close supervision in a medium sized company and ready to accept full accountability for design approvals (this would not suit someone who wants to work within a rigid corporate structure).
• Strong customer focus able to flex design approach to key stakeholder requirements.
• Able to Conduct UX/UI or service design audits and stakeholder workshops.
• A master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience and knowledge of either other fast moving tech brands or better still other Fintech brands.
