The safety engineers role is to replace the current C grade engineer leaving the company, the role is key to supporting the timely delivery of module 4 / plus supporting both India and China. Also the on-going training of the PTME engineers on Control of contractors / ECPL / VISTAG and promoting Think Safety on our journey to Destination Zero.
Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED 1. Experienced Safety Engineer 2. Minimum NEBOSH certificate - desired NEBOSH or equivalent diploma 3. Good business behaviours / presentation & training skills and patient
Experience Required:
Must be a self starter able to work with minimal supervision, & possess strong negotiation & influencing skills. Minimum 2 years + safety engineering experience
Experience Preferred:
Qualified to degree level preferred but not essential - experience will also be a key consideration, and NEBOSH qualified
Additional Information :
The nature of the work requires a flexible approach to working time including possible evening/weekend work and travelling to other sites as required.
