Group Accountant, Commercial - Guernsey (40465/002) Guernsey, Channel Islands
Our client, a well established commercial business is seeking to recruit an experienced and qualified Group Accountant to strengthen their Finance Team. You will be a key part of the finance department which provides support to a variety of trading group businesses across the Channel Islands.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, key responsibilities will include the provision of statutory financial reporting, management information and operational support within a commercial environment. You will also be required to produce accurate monthly management accounts and sales figures for all group companies and assist with the preparation of annual budgets in conjunction with the directors and CEO. Additional duties will include cash management, supporting each company board in the role of company secretary and payroll administration.
Advanced IT skills, a professional accountancy qualification, with experience of UK GAAP, and excellent planning, organisation and communication skills at all levels are essential. Commercial experience advanced Excel skills (E.g. IF, INDEX, MATCH, INDIRECT, VLOOKUP functions) would be an advantage.
