Analyst / Actuarial Trainee - Guernsey (37262/014) Guernsey, Channel Islands
We are currently seeking applicants for the position of analyst/actuarial trainee to join a busy team of an international insurance company in Guernsey.
The key responsibilities of this role include assisting in the preparation of data and calculations for actuarial valuations and financial reporting of pension schemes for clients. Calculating benefits for individual members of pension schemes, preparing draft letters to communicate the results and preparing and checking standard valuation reports.
The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of a ‘A’ grade of A’ Level mathematics. A science based degree, problem solving and mathematical modelling would be an advantage. Training will be provided in all aspects of the job, and if successful progress is made you will be supported to undertake the Institute of Actuaries exams.
