Our client, an award winning Fund Administrator who provides high quality Fund and Fiduciary services across Private Equity, Real Estate Funds, Alternative Investment Fund and Traditional Funds, is recruiting for a Fund Accountant Officer in Guernsey.
Reporting directly to the Manager, the successful incumbent will prepare financial statements for fund structures in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with accepted accounting and auditing standards and internal policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
• Preparing financial statements for all fund companies, unit trusts and private equity structures
• Maintaining relationships with existing clients and intermediaries
• Liaising with auditors and external service providers
• Presenting accounts at Board Meetings to discuss audit issues and findings
The right candidate will hold a relevant professional accounting qualification e.g. ACCA/ACA. They will have sound knowledge of the fund industry, fund accounting, recording of financial transactions and preparation of financial statements. A proven track record of client service excellence is essential.
