Trust Manager - Guernsey (40007/002) Guernsey, Channel Islands
Our private banking client is seeking a Trust Manager to join their dynamic Guernsey team. This is an excellent opportunity to take a lead role in managing the trust and fiduciary services department whilst developing the trust personnel of the Group.
Key responsibilities include:
• Successfully manage and monitor the performance of subordinate staff, including setting performance targets, in conjunction with the directors, and undertaking appraisals
• Provide technical advice, coaching and guidance to subordinate staff
• Act as an “B” signatory on all client related banking and Investment accounts
• Oversee the completion of periodic client reviews within agreed time frame
You will have minimum 5 years experience covering banking, credit, fiduciary, asset management and investment dealing in various jurisdictions, ideally holding a relevant professional qualification such as STEP or ICSA.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills in order to successfully manage and develop subordinate staff
• Have good analytical and problem solving skills
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Have the ability to maintain excellent relationships with clients, advisers and colleagues
• Be pro-active and use initiative
• Have excellent technical and product knowledge
• Have experience of administering offshore structures
