We are keen to hear from hardworking candidates that have the ability to work on their own initiative.
Suitable candidates will meet the following criteria:
• Routine operation and where appropriate basic maintenance of autoclaves, glass washing machines, washers and dryers.
• Routine care & maintenance of general lab equipment, eg. balances, pH meters, pipettes, microscopes.
• Monitoring and maintaining consumables for common use.
• Operation of media preparation service, monitoring stock levels of common use sterile media and preparation of further stocks to maintain levels.
• Assistance with annual electrical safety testing.
