Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise for the company to design high availability solutions and complex software systems, as well as estimate/measure software performance, architecture, design and development tasks
- Review the company’s technical documentation, architecture artifacts and design/functional specifications, and present technical issues and status to senior and executive management team of both the brand and company
- Research, evaluate and consult new technologies to maintain the exceptional knowledge of technology and digital industry, trends and standards
- Build and maintain a positive relationships and communications with partners within the company and Brand to support all technology & digital initiatives for the resort
Requirements:
- Advanced digital and technical literacy, exceptional knowledge of technology and digital industry, trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 10+ years’ experience in software & architecture design and implementation
- Business level written and verbal proficiency in English and Japanese
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
- Experience working on issues that impact design, product success, or address future concepts, products, or technologies
- Experience with Java-based web applications, LAMP-based web applications, Web Services, Extensive Object Oriented analysis, design and development preferred
