McKenzie Horn Ltd is an SFA registered Training Organisation, providing Business Start Up & Enterprise courses and qualifications to the community and offender education services. They are a small and specialised Training Provider, supporting over 1,500 learners per year in 9 establishments across the East & West Midlands.

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive and effective administration & operations service that supports the delivery of their contracts. You will be required to:

Provide/maintain effective & efficient data relating to our contract provision and learners
Plan/manage training schedules by venue and training staff in line with the training programme agreed
Provide/manage data, records and communications with the qualification Awarding Organisations
Plan/manage security vetting for new Trainers
Produce marketing literature and help in the creation of learner & trainer course materials
Assist with Quality Assurance and portfolio evidence procedures
Purchase office supplies and general IT equipment required for course delivery

Essential skills & experience:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Confident and creative personality
Excellent IT skills – in particular MS Excel but familiarisation with Design packages such as Adobe software would be an advantage
Good Numeracy skills
Good organisational and time management skills
Level 2 minimum qualification in English and Maths

Desirable skills & experience:
Experience of working in an educational training organisation environment
Experience of working with SFA/ASB/OLASS provision
Track record of effective and efficient administration within an office environment
Track record of maintaining accurate electronic data systems & records
Level 2 qualification in ICT and Business Administration
