We are currently recruiting for EC&I Engineers with expertise in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated industry/safety critical/safety related systems.

These roles are to be based at Sizewell in Suffolk.


Role Profile
This role will give you the opportunity to operate on a nuclear licensed site alongside our key client to deliver technically challenging and complex work programs on the UKs flagship PWR nuclear reactor.

Your role will consist of, but will not be restricted to the following:
Job Description
You will be responsible for technical delivery across a range of EC&I projects across the engineering lifecycle as part of a growing team.
This role also has the potential for technical oversight and leadership with opportunities for personal development in both technical and leadership skills. Working closely with the customer, you will be seen as an ambassador for the company, helping to identify and shape valuable revenue streams through early engagement whilst linking back to wider capabilities to provide a comprehensive service.

Work in a safe and sustainable manner and strive for continuous improvement in these areas
Review and analyse technical documentation in conjunction with company technical specifications and modern standards
Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies and other safety case supporting documentation
Develop and review discipline specific engineering drawings
Develop Requirements specifications, technical specifications and other design related documentation for major C&I projects
Perform and analyse discipline specific calculations for system studies
Ensure successful execution of high quality engineering work to time, quality, budget and customer satisfaction
Demonstrate high focus on customer care, committed to delivering on promises
Manage your own work within associated project budgets
Anticipate technical risks associated with your own work and discuss how to manage these with Responsible Engineer or Site Supervisor
Maintain and develop successful working relationships with engineers at all levels within client organisations
Continually develop technical knowledge and competence in field of expertise, and seeks to develop skill portfolio

Candidate Specification
You will be a degree qualified engineer (or accomplished engineer through apprentice route with relevant expertise)
Develop technical knowledge and experience leading to Chartered or incorporated engineer status, or membership of a relevant professional body
Experience of working on a regulated site with a specific focus on process plant, control & instrumentation and associated safety case
Knowledge of Civil nuclear plant systems, structures and component and associated design and assessment guidelines a distinct advantage
Knowledge of SMART instruments, Software and Hardware Equipment Qualification techniques or Cyber Security an advantage
Experience of process systems or C&I design an advantage
Maintain a developing knowledge of products and services available in the marketplace to support design concepts
Maintain and develop knowledge, capability and competence in latest engineering standards and techniques
Be proactive and autonomous whilst understanding limits of knowledge and experience
Flexible to travel to various sites around the UK for both long and short durations if required
