We are pleased to be recruiting for a Programme Support Assistant for a highly respected and regarded organisation on the East Coast.

Role Overview
The Programme Support Assistant will assist the Programme Manager in formulating and delivering the programmes.
The Programme Support Assistant will undertake the day-to-day duties, representing the Company at external events, meetings, schools and educational organisations. Organising related events, communications, and other organisational tasks as required in association with the Programme Manager.
The Programme Support Assistant will also work with the Programme Manager in researching funding streams, initiatives, educational issues and other matters related to the Programme to contribute to the development of the Companies strategy and fulfil the requirements of the regional energy industry.
The Programme Support Assistant will provide administration support and will produce documentation on behalf of the Programme Manager.

Your duties will consist of but will not be restricted to the following:
Job Description
To assist the Programme Manager in formulating delivering the Strategy to the mutual benefit of the regional Energy Industry and local population.
To assist in the successful delivery of the annual event and other related core and annual events.
To assist with implementing and maintaining the organisations core brands.
To assist with the delivery of specific project work and their agenda under the direction of the Programme Manager.
To work with the Programme Manager and the General Manager to deliver the commercial strategy.
To attend and actively participate in the organisations external meetings on behalf of the Programme Manager.
To attend external job fairs, school and college events, trade shows and conferences on behalf of the Company and when directed by the Programme Manager.
Assist the Programme Manager with the marketing and promotion of the Programme and Strategy at every opportunity.
Assist the Programme Manager with stakeholder identification, engagement and networking.
To undertake continual research and maintain the Companies portfolio of courses and initiatives.
Develop a good understanding of the regional challenges and the availability of educational and vocational courses, programmes and initiatives relevant to the regional Energy Industry.
To research potential funding streams and programmes on behalf of the Programme Manager to inform the commercial strategy for the Company.

Other duties will include:
To assist the Programme Manager in reporting Key Performance Indicators and monitoring the Companies budget.
Produce reports and documents related to the Programme as directed by the Programme Manager.
Produce agendas and minutes for related meetings.

Candidate Specification
Good interpersonal and ambassadorial skills. Ability to promote the organisation at all events and opportunities.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Be organised with good attention to detail.
The candidate will be numerate with good analytical skills, especially with regards data trends, statistics and reporting.
Competent writer of reports, business letters and other communication, taking and writing minutes and email correspondence.
IT literate with a high level of competency in standard software packages (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Able and willing to visit member or stakeholder offices, make site visits, and make occasional overnight stays for business.
Due to nature of the role the ideal candidate must hold a clean, full UK driving licence with own mode of transport.
You will be a logical thinker who has a methodical approach to tasks.
Adept at using CRM systems and other databases.
Have some experience with Project Management (although not essential).
Experience of the education sector would be desirable although not essential.
Experience of conferences, events and exhibitions.
Proven ability to provide proactive customer service and experience of engaging with members or customers.
