Patient Experience Coordinator – Ashford – 3 month contract - £120-180 per day – IR35 Status: Inside IR35
We are currently recruiting for a Patient Experience Coordinator to work for a major government department based in Ashford on a 3 month contract. Candidates with experience of working within healthcare sector are highly desirable as are candidates with experience of working within a government department.
The role:
The successful candidate will support the quality assurance responsibilities of our client’s service users, focusing on enquiries and dealing with relevant commissioning complaints.
Duties:
• The post holder will undertake reporting and analysis of information to support service delivery,
• The post holder is a key member of the team, whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology in order to improve delivery of services.
• Be responsible for a caseload of complaints and enquiries, facilitating effective resolution by obtaining and collating the necessary information and drafting responses from clinical and non- clinical staff at all levels; using influence and negotiating skills to challenge and evaluate quality standards and content of reports/investigations received.
• Be responsible for the preparation of written responses to complaints on behalf of patients, adopting a Plain English approach to writing.
• Set up, and attend meetings where necessary, to facilitate the resolution of complaints between patients, their relatives, managers and clinicians.
• Make recommendations and where appropriate, carry out the necessary actions in order to resolve complaints and concerns.
Experience
• Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level
• Knowledge of administrative procedures, project management or information analysis
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience of working in a complaints handling position
