Reporting Turret and Weapon Systems Team Leader
Inspection, servicing, repair, overhaul and conditioning of vehicle borne weapon control equipment, sighting systems and general equipment including diagnostic and inspection duties. Manufacture of miscellaneous items. Carrying out equipment examination and processing all documentation required after diagnostic and repair to meet production requirements.

- Conduct Periodic Inspections and subsequent classification of weapon control equipment, sighting systems in accordance with AESP’s and relevant safety notices.
- Maintain accountable documentation as required by the customer.
- Carry out work to the required standard and specification as detailed on the job card in accordance with AESP’s, customer requirements, current regulations, local instructions, process plans and other technical publications.
- Undertake diagnostic duties on equipment and to carry out post repair inspections.
- Identification and requisition of spares for those jobs requiring ES Mat
- Ensure tasks are completed within scheduled times.
- Ensure stores and equipment issued to job are used for their correct purpose.
- Maintain the requirements of COSHH, Health & Safety and other statutory regulations.
- Ensure a good standard of housekeeping, cleanliness and safety in the work area to ensure the correct disposal of any hazardous or waste products.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a good serviceable order, reporting any faults to the Team leader and remain responsible for their security at all times.
- Consult Team leader regarding any problems affecting the inspection, diagnostic, PEWS and repair process, especially when additional work is deemed necessary.
- Consult Team leader regarding any problems affecting Quality, Cost, delivery or Health & Safety.
- Coach new team members and carry out on the job training
- Execute other minor duties commensurate with grade and post on occasional basis as detailed by Line Management chain.
