Description:
Full responsibility for the Procurement / Planning and related activities for Enidine’s machine shop ensuring compliance to all policies , procedures, and conformance to meet the requirements specified.     Maintain professional representation of   ITT Enidine Inc. in working with developing external source s .
 
· Responsible for procurement, delivery, and planning of all raw materials insuring conformance to cost delivery and quality requirements with little or no supervision.
 
· Coordinate with engineering all material part number requirements in a timely fashion to support production schedul e .
 
· Work      with     outside     processing suppliers     to     ensure conformance to drawing specification, quality performance, and coordinate delivery in accordance with and compatible to our master schedul e .
 
· Coordinate and organize machine shop production schedules to satisfy on - time delivery requirements. .
 
· Support cost reduction initiatives by developing new sources of supply , working with existing suppliers and engineering to reduce product costs , and working with supplier base to reduce ownership costs of materials purchased .   Reduce operating costs through process improvement and establishing long-term agreements for key component s .
 
· Support   the Machine   Shop's Raw Material inventory   management   program     by   reviewing     excess   and obsolete   inventory   and   disposition it   in accordance   with applicable policies..   Establishment of long -term agreements with finite release windows, and support of two-bin floor stock progra m .
 
· Support quality and delivery programs by working with suppliers to develop process control to ensure quality and delivery of compliant product.
 
· Prepare, maintain     and     analyze department     metrics, making     recommendations to     management     for improvement opportunities this includes internal component cost objectives as well as outside processing supplier s .
 
· Coordinate and execute all purchase orders for raw materials, outside processing for     all internally manufactured components in accordance with our cost and scheduling objective s .
 
· Maintain standard cost for both the make in house and purchased components to insure all cost associated with the component are correct.
 
· Create all Machine Shop Manufacturing   Routings for internally produced components, including all outside processing, resource information, and appropriate   lead times with input from the Component Programmer, Machine Shop Coordinator, and or Machine Shop Manager where applicable.
 
· Assume team leadership role in scheduling, coordination, and execution of all activities.
 
 
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university; with 5 years related purchasing experience and/or training .   Machine shop experience is required. Should be fully proficient in MRP and inventory management skills.   Requires good   negotiation , communication and organizational skills.   Must be   a   problem solver, with demonstrated technical ability in machining     and   blueprint reading.     Possess or pursuing APlCS and/or   CPM certification. Must be literate in use of PC. Must be capable of providing project team leadershi p .   Must be able to travel.
