Fee Billing Processing Operations Specialist
Private Bank Operations supports the JPMorgan Private Bank, the worlds premier service provider for ultra wealthy individuals. The Private Banks goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes, and across generations. Located in Newark, Delaware, the 400 members of Private Bank Operations provide end to end support for all aspects of the client banking experience, working closely with sales, service, and product specialty groups.
Private Bank Fee Billing Operations ensures that fees are charged accurately and timely in support of the various services and products offered to high net worth clients: Private client wealth management includes products and services for Investment Management, Brokerage, Custody, and Fiduciary activities. This team is responsible for maintaining client accounts, performing accounting and accruals, and participation in Fee Billing Projects as warranted. All responsibilities require a strong ability to analyze and interpret data, adhere to regulatory and pricing standards, while building efficiencies, maintaining quality results and ultimately supporting client satisfaction.
Specific Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Manage fee related activities; charging of fees, maintenance and investigations in accordance with fee instructions
Comprehend complex operational flows and negotiated fee arrangements
Ensure accuracy of items processed within the billing group, Includes manual fee processing, system/ledger verification and accrual invoicing.
Navigate complex processes for multiple services/products
Work with internal partners to resolve issues
Accountable for resolving inquiries within service levels
Strong client focus
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to build relationships with business partners
Commitment to quality under tight deadlines
Ability to think creatively and implement recommendations for process improvement
Demonstrate initiative to make decisions using sound judgment within scope of authority
Strong organizational skills to successfully manage multiple tasks at one time
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Access is a plus, but not essential
Basic knowledge of securities industry required; more advanced knowledge preferred
Bachelors degree and/or equivalent work experience
Investigate opportunities to increase revenue, provide automation, and analyze fluctuations in key metrics
Anticipate challenges and implement solutions in order to manage the expectations of the internal business partners for a positive client experience.
