Sizewell B Power Station commissioned an on-site Dry Fuel Storage facility in 2017.
This request is specifically associated with the Sizewell B Spent Fuel Programme, which includes the Operation and Maintenance of the Dry Fuel Store facility, plant and equipment.
Investment Delivery is responsible for managing the establishment DFS O&M within Station arrangements

Educational Professional Qualifications Required
An experienced power station project engineer, however, candidates from other highly regulated industries e.g. process, pharmaceutical, oil and gas would be considered.
Good experience of
•Technical evaluation of OPEX records and related data
•Technical evaluation of O&M manuals, and related materials / documentation
•Experience of life cycle evaluation and planning formulating maintenance programmes and estimates
•Defining maintenance strategies and contract scope with customers/stakeholders/ OEMs
•Authoring / reviewing / verifying technical specifications
•Authoring / reviewing / verifying plant maintenance instructions
•Contract evaluation and placement
•Contract administration/ management
•Fluent English- Written & verbal
•Core capability within mechanical / civil or electrical / C&I engineering. Contract and supplier management.
•Ability to communicate with individuals, groups and stakeholders (e.g. both technical and business). Make a positive impact at technical and business meetings.
•Management of emergent defects and ability to priorities tasks.
•Knowledge of health and safety legislation including Construction (Design & Management) and Health and Safety at Work act.
•Understanding, and the application, of high quality standards.
•Experience of delivering work in accordance with Station work management processes.
•Able to address problems in a logical manner, viewing them from several aspects and recommend suitable solutions. Experience in business improvement and organisation learning techniques.
Must recognise the importance of nuclear safety and zero harm. Experience in safety case and configuration management.
•Knowledge of budgets, cost control and commercial awareness. Experience in delivering additional value and value engineering. Awareness of EDF standards & procedures beneficial but not essential. Good organisational and time management skills.
•BPSS level security clearance required.
