Job Title: Production Administrator
Location: Trafford Park
Type: Permanent
Rate of Pay: Salary will be £18,383.24, upon completion of probationary period the salary will be increased to £18,883.24.
Shifts: Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 4.30pm / Fri 7.30am – 13.30pm (39 Hours)

About the role

To provide administrative support to the Manchester Production facility in order to ensure efficient and effective operations. This role presents an opportunity for further career development by making positive contributions to the Manchester Production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide a high standard of administration service to the Manchester Production facility.
To respond in a timely and professional manner to emails / letters / faxes advising on various administration matters.
To accurately input data from work orders into Production Status Summary databases for both Manchester Production and Spiral Tube Production.
To accurately input data into the business ERP system:-
Booking in supplier deliveries
Accurate input of completed batch quantities
Completing shipping notes from warehouse pick lists
Completion of sub-contract carrier dispatch documents and labels.
Purchasing of factory and office requirements.
Maintain existing and improve filing system where necessary.
Assist with Manchester Production Health & Safety administration as and when required.
To meet and greet all customers, suppliers and co-workers.
To maintain a safe and tidy reception area.
To ensure all visitors sign in / out of the ‘visitors book’.
To answer the telephone, directing incoming calls to the appropriate person and at busier time’s accurately recording enquiries.
To be responsible for booking and managing the meeting room ensuring refreshments for all meetings have been booked / organised.
To be able to communicate effectively with all levels of business staff and develop positive and pro-active relationships with members of staff throughout and external suppliers / customers who contact the Manchester Production facility.
At all times work in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations. To also work within the confines of and abide to the Company’s Risk Assessments and Control Measures.
At all times work within and abide by the confines of all other Company policies including but not limited too Disciplinary Procedures, Equal Opportunities, Dignity at Work, Grievance Procedures, Anti-Corruption, Code of Ethics and Social Media policy.
To show a continued commitment to develop knowledge and attend training courses / presentations / seminars etc. as and when required to do so.
Any other such duties as maybe required to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the Manchester Production facility and that are considered as similar to your job role.

About you

Administration experience,
Good PC skills: MS Office packages including MS Excel, Word and Power Point, internet and e-mail,
Basic understanding of ERP systems,
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written,
Effective time management, prioritising tasks and be able to work under pressure to deadlines,
Good problem solving and organisational skills,
Ability to work effectively as a part of a team and as an individual,
To be proactive, accurate, flexible and willing to learn new skills
