Candidate Specification
Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 10 or more years’ experience in electrical design and project management. PE preferred but not required.

Candidates should have a Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or electronics engineering with an interest in the electrical design field.

Candidate should possess a strong academic record and posses related work experience in Low and Medium Voltage Design in the following fields:
-Power Distribution
-Road tunnel Lighting
-Short Circuit
-Breaker Coordination
-Control System Design
- Motor drives
-SCADA systems
-Motor Drives
-Grounding Systems
- Emergency power supplies, UPS and Generators
Working knowledge of NFPA 70 & 70E, NFPA 130 & NFPA 502

Job Description
The Engineer will be a team leader and be responsible for directing work assignments to team members in a project or site office.

The Engineer will be directly involved with electrical design projects, preparing drawings, calculation, technical reports and providing project management.

The Engineer will plan workload, conduct and direct engineering projects of small to intermediate scale with minimum supervision.

Travel within the US may be required.

The work will include rail, metro, roadway, water/waste water, ports, aviation or other type of transport projects primarily, but not limited to the New York City office.
