The Company

This large corporation operates out of Airports and provides top quality service for Logistics, On-Board Retail and In-Flight Catering. Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Recruitment Assistant to join their HR Shared Service Centre based at Manchester Airport.

What the role is

Reporting directly into the HR Manager and working closely with the Recruitment Co-ordinator, you will be required to support all phases of the recruitment function. You will undertake the responsibility of aspects of the recruitment lifecycle contributing to the smooth running of their busy recruitment operation within Manchester & London Heathrow.

Basic Duties

Reviewing CV’s, arranging interviews and liaising with managers to give weekly updates on candidate progress
Referencing candidates to strict CAA and Home Office guidelines
Data entry and logging recruitment activity with the use of recruitment trackers
General administration and filing
Responsible for other ad-hoc duties

Skills needed

Previous experience within a HR or Recruitment environment
You will have previous administrative experience and be confident using Microsoft Word and Excel
You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written, with experience of professionally liaising with colleagues and managers on the phone daily
You will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisation, be disciplined in your work and have a can do attitude
You will possess an understanding of best practice and employment law within a HR environment

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of Recruitment or have the transferrable skills from a similar role within HR.
