Senior Credit Risk Analyst - £35K-£45K – Stockport – Permanent

Our client is well established Lender and Financial Services Corporation. They are one of the market leaders within the UK and looking to continue their successful growth. They are involved in many different sectors of lending and are looking for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst.
The Role
The Senior Credit Risk Analyst will play an integral role within the Commercial Credit Risk team with an objective to optimise performance through the provision of awareness and analysis to business stakeholders. You will also be responsible for production of risk reports and analysis on the Commercial lending portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Production and on-going enhancement of Commercial credit risk reporting, providing accurate monthly & quarterly reports and updates to Commercial Risk committees
• Provide analytical insights and make strategic recommendations for the full credit risk life-cycle
• Perform analysis to support credit risk strategy, policy and process development
• Support development and monitoring of new products
• Build and maintain a strong stakeholder network to share credit risk expertise and insight across the business
To be successful:
• You will have extensive experience as a Credit Risk Analyst
• Experience in financial services or consumer credit
• Experience within a data rich and insight focused business
• Degree educated (Ideally numerical discipline)
• Relevant coding experience (SQL/SAS/R)
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
