Project Engineer - Logistics Equipment Management (15248429/002) Lancashire, England

Advantage Resourcing are currently recruiting to a great opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join an Equipment Management Team with a major aerospace organisation based in Warton. This role is required to cover maternity leave and has been issued until Dec 2017 however may be subject to extension. Our client is able to offer £22ph ltd.

The role involves interfacing with Supplier Management teams, across the project, to resolve all Equipment Supply issues, main responsibilities include:-
• Interface with Major Units customer on delivery and quality.
• Liaise with EPCs (procurement) on delivery performance.
• Return to Works
• Alerts & Recalls
• Structured planning and effective liaison with stakeholders is required and the ability to identify and escalate issues as appropriate.
• The role requires the ability to plan / organise and manage the associated budget and risk provision

Candidates will be expected to have achieved HND standard of further education or equivalent experience, ideally with experience of in an aircraft operations environment and have a strong communication and team working skills. Applicants should have a basic understanding of aircraft systems together with configuration control principles.
