Support the Director of Faculty in the leadership and development of the strategic direction of the designated Faculty. Maximise student participation and success rates and ensure that all students within the designated Faculty receive a consistently outstanding experience. Play a proactive role in the delivery of the college’s strategic aims and ambition to be ‘Outstanding Every Day’.
The role requires leadership and management skills to support the Director of Faculty in the direction and performance management of staff. The Assistant Head of Faculty is expected to be an outstanding teaching and learning practitioner who will act as a role model to all other staff within the Faculty and the wider College.
The post holder is an integral part of the Faculty’s management team and will be expected to participate actively in initiatives that support the Faculty and the College’s aims and ambitions.
The Assistant Head of Faculty will manage their area portfolio wherever it is delivered and meeting a need; be that on one of our campuses, out-centres or employer premises.
The role will include delivering a teaching commitment as defined annually by the College.
