Additional Learning Support Programme Manager (BENADLS) Stratford-upon-Avon, England

Salary: GBP35106 - GBP35106 per hour + Excellent benefits
Protocol are working with a GOOD College in the West Midlands for an Additional Learning Support Programme Manager, you will have worked in a similar role and be responsible for providing high-quality efficient and effective Additional Learning Support, assisting with the promotion of opportunities for learning and enable all learners to achieve to the best of their abilities.

The role is a cross-service strategic role managing and developing the Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) Support Service and the staff working within that area.

Key duties will include
• Providing strategic guidance to the SLT, to support the development of SpLD with the Director of Curriculum and to have overall management of the ALS service.
• Provide individuals and small groups of students with ALS in a Learning Resource Centre setting.
• Organise examination concessions and conduct assessments
• To provide statistics, reports and data
• To Evaluate, modify and develop service delivery to meet the changing landscape in higher education, stakeholder needs and funding mechanisms.
• Develop a programme of staff development across the service in relation to inclusive learning approaches, promoting inclusion and accessibility in line with legislation.
• Support and liaise with College and non-College staff concerning ALD and additional support
• Lead in the contacting of parents/carers, schools, social services and other organisations as appropriate
• Lead for SEND agenda and responsible for working with Local Authorities regarding the SEND Reform and the Local Offer, incorporating EHC plans.

Some of the essential requirements for this role include Level 7 Post Graduate Cert/Diploma in Dyslexia or SpLD, teaching qualification and a good standard of GCSE’s or equivalent.
