Protocol are working with a group of Colleges in KSA for two Principal’s, Vice Principal, Director of Operations, Head of Vocational and Head of Foundation for one of their new male College’s, you will be a senior leader in FE with an engineering background.

The roles are based in Saudi Arabia (at least 12 months contract) and include an opportunity to earn a tax free salary, subsidised accommodation and subsidised travel!
As Head of Foundation you will be responsible for the planning, organisation and co-ordination of the Foundation Department studies to ensure that an excellent learner experience is provided including the leadership and management of the Foundation Tutoring teams and the overall student progression across the college.

Key duties will include;
• Responsible for Programme Management to Assist the Vice Principal in the planning and development of Foundation Studies courses to meet the needs of individual learners, maximise their potential in their chosen field of study and future career, ensure that national targets are met
• Drive high performance of the team through strong leadership of the Tutors, identifying training and support needs and dealing with under performance (where required)
• Monitor and enhance the quality of provision to ensure that learners achieve their learning outcomes and progress to further training and/or employment, including focusing on adding value.
• Work with the tutors to develop innovative approaches to curriculum delivery to improve access to learning.
• Assist the Vice Principal to ensure that targets are achieved for recruitment, achievement and success within the department.

Ideally you will have previous experience working in KSA and you must hold a degree, as a minimum hold an English certificate including: CELTA, DELTA, TEFEL or TESOL, experience in English Language programmes as well as management experience.
