Protocol are working with a group of Colleges in KSA for two Principal’s, Vice Principal, Director of Operations, Head of Vocational and Head of Foundation, you will be a senior leader in FE within a similar role.

The roles is based Saudi Arabia, is for at least 12 months and qualifies for a tax free salary, subsidised accommodation and subsidised travel!

As Director of Operations you will be responsible for shared services including IT, HR, Facilities, College Operations, Implementation/PMO (excluding finance, internal audit/compliance and legal)

Key duties will include;
• The delivery and management of all non-educational programmes/contracts
• Implementation of new contracts, planning, transition and customer service evaluation.
• Responsible for a total budget of Operations and provide optimum business studies
• To define the best output and on time delivery of services for the organization; evaluate periodically and solve strategic issues in close cooperation with the Chief Operation Officer.

The successful candidate will have:
• Educated to degree level with Project Management qualifications
• Excellent general operations experience and leadership of large teams
• Experience of Project Management/Implementation methodologies and successful large scale phasing in of contract wins in an educational setting
• Proven track record in leading complex, large-scale change and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
• Experience of setup and live running of shared service functions
• Significant experience at a senior and strategic level within a College.
• A strong empathy for and interest in FE policy, including proven experience of strategy development and successful implementation at an institutional or wider level.
• Strong stakeholder development skills for both internal and external networking
• The ability to write clear and persuasive Board papers/ business plans using fact-based evidence as part of influencing skills.
