Protocol are working on behalf of a leading education provider in the Greater Manchester area to recruit for an experienced Bid Writer to join their team.
Working as part of a busy and successful bid team, the Bid Writer will be responsible for developing high quality tender submissions. This will entail completing internal and external research and developing and drafting tender submission documents including Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and responses to Invitation to Tenders (ITTs). The individual will contribute towards improvements in tender quality, success rate of the organisation’s submission process and overall growth targets. You will be working closely with key stakeholders through the lifecycle of a bid and provide input into the internal bid governance process.
Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
Previous Experience
Desirable
- Experience in a role requiring excellent written English skills
- Experience in a Business Development or tender/bid writing role
Job Specific Skills:
Essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Both analytical and creative thinking skills
- High levels of personal organisation
- Able to use standard MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
Desirable
- Able to use MS Project
