Protocol are working with a leading FE College in Cheshire to recruit for a Head of Faculty for Service Industries which reports to the Assistant Principal - Vocational Studies.

The post holder will be responsible for providing leadership and management to all areas across the Faculty and focus on securing high quality teaching and learning which leads to excellent outcomes for students. The post holder will also be responsible in securing the achievement of the College’s strategic priorities by being pro-actively responsive to national and regional initiatives.
The post holder will be accountable to the Assistant Principal for student’s progress and improvement within the Faculty and have overall responsibility for everyday activities within the Faculty. Effective management of performance and adhering to College protocols and policies whilst ensuring that all members of staff are given an opportunity to develop their practice are strong requirements of the role.
The post holder must be educated to degree level and hold a PGCE/Certificate in Education or relevant teaching qualification. The post holder must have a proven track record in teaching and managing Health and Social Sciences including Childcare, Public Services, Accounting and Business or Sport Leisure and Tourism is essential for this role.
