Job - Highways design engineer –PDS experience- Contract Job – Based Birmingham
Job
Contract is for a period of 3 months initially, with the possibility of extending to a permanent requirement, dependent on workload. Working as a Highways design engineer.
About You
The candidate must have extensive and proven experience with using PDS and Windes Highway Design Software and AutoCAD R2012. Good all round Highways and drainage experience, for housing and commercial developments. Thorough knowledge of DMRB (Design Manual for Road and Bridges) and Sewers for Adoption. Must be able to complete detailed sewer, private drainage and highway design, quickly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on several interesting highway infrastructure project for commercial and residential developments. The candidate must be able to work effectively on their own initiative to deliver designs in a timely manner for technical approval and construction. Applicants must have a proactive attitude and be able to respond to highway authority technical audit comments efficiently to gain technical approval within demanding deadlines.
For this Job the Applicants must live locally to our offices in Birmingham (a maximum of one hour’s drive) and have their own transport to the office.
