Summary

The role of the Global Banking & Markets Central Business Finance team is to support the extensive global / regional reporting requirements, as well as to provide an integrated analysis of information across all businesses, support functions and global regions. The team is also responsible for global data integrity, controls, infrastructure and maintenance of the MI reporting systems. The primary audience for the MI information is the CEO and the CFO of GB&M.


Responsibilities

•Produce clear documentation and communication for project analysis and requirements
•Coordinate and hold business requirements gathering and process definition workshops with the business / regions
•Support the Group Business Finance Change Delivery team to complete detailed functional requirements based on the detailed business requirements.
•Coordinate testing, training and working through system issues with users and IT
•Monitor and control the monitoring, tracking, and resolving of issues, risks and dependencies on analysis, requirements gathering, training and testing project tasks
•Training and coaching of others with regards to analysis development and processes
•Mapping of hierarchies and structures from non-standardised systems to group standardised MI systems
•Manage key tasks in support of the MI Systems Project Manager
•Develop strong working relationships with relevant Global Banking & Markets business, regional and group teams
•Engage Global Banking & Markets business, regional and group teams such that delivery milestones are met
•Work effectively with the teams to help achieve the goals and objectives of the project

Experience

•Highly systems literate, with a good understanding and working knowledge of Excel and TM1.
•In-depth Finance background around one of management reporting, statutory and/or regulatory reporting, including structural systems change.
•Financial services background with a background in Investment Banking or Global Markets preferred.
•Well-developed interpersonal, organisational, negotiation, problem solving, influencing and communication skills
•Ability to professionally and effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of management
•Ability to understand the detail but also able to take a holistic approach
•Understands the full project lifecycle from requirements through to implementation
•Ability to drive and co-ordinate change, multi-task/work to tight deadlines and to provide a ‘value-added’ service.
