Summary
• Undertake business and technical enhancements on the organisation’s Findur v8 platform
Responsibilities
• Participate in data migration and reconciliation activities required as part of the migration from an old trading platform to a new Murex trading platform
• Respond to Treasury trade and middle/back-office queries and questions, provide trade and static data extracts, run simulated Findur end-of-day and end-of-month processes, undertake database backups and restores and provide test environments
• Undertake business and technical enhancements on our Findur v8 platform
• Participate in data migration and reconciliation activities required as part of the migration from Findur to NBS’ new Murex trading platform
• Respond to Treasury trade and middle/back-office queries and questions, provide trade and static data extracts, run simulated Findur end-of-day and end-of-month processes, undertake database backups and restores and provide test environments
Skills and Experience
• In-depth knowledge of Findur v8 or later
• Experience and knowledge of integration points with external platforms: Bloomberg, Reuters, Markitwire and BrokerTec
• Experience and knowledge of the Murex MX.3 trading platform and its architecture would be useful but is not essential
• Proven capability in using AVS scripting, SQL 2005 and/or 2012 and all the usual MS & Windows skills
• A track record of IT analysis, design and development in a Findur environment
• Capability to evaluate requirements pertaining to Treasury business problems, and proven ability to assess impact and identify options for a business or IT solution
• Capability to undertake root cause analysis and propose a solution or explanation for Findur live service incidents
• Experience of participating in a trade data migration from Findur to Murex or another trading platform would be useful but not essential
