Job Description: The main responsibilities of this role are:
Management of the product approvals process,
Conducting detailed technical evaluations from initial enquiry to final project sign off including Compiling and verifying test programmes and technical approval files, reviewing client technical product documentation
Liaison with internal departments, customers, approval agencies and accreditation bodies
Person Specifications: The successful candidate should have the following essential skills and knowledge:
A relevant electronic qualification or equivalent
Experience of product testing or evaluation work
The ability to build and maintain good customer relations
Analytical ability, clarity of thought and attention to detail
Excellent organisational, written and oral communication skills
Be fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and databases.
Other desirable skills, knowledge and experience might include:
A good understanding of the certification/approvals process
Experience of certification or quality management processes
Experience of project management
