Linux Systems Administrator(S) – Portsmouth
Global Consultancy has a number of openings for Linux Systems Administrators in Portsmouth.
ROLE
"Systems Administrator-UNIX Operating Systems LINUX Financial Services experience preferred. Reference from previous IBM assignment required. This onshore resource is required to attend Customer meetings and work with collocated Project Managers but will also be supplemented with additional offshore resource to assist with the rollout.
The skills are:
1. Skilled in Linux
2. Redhat 7 expertise; install, configuration, problem determination, all areas including networks
3. Veritas Cluster Services
4. Redhat Satellite knowledge; including, kick start, Redhat patching
5. Knowledge of tooling interaction with Linux; Install and configure tooling including: Tivoli Storage Manager client Symantec Anti-Virus client Big Fix client Tivoli Monitoring Scripting
6. SELinux
7. User access management experience would be useful particularly for Access Management
Whilst recent experience within Financial Services is preferred this isn’t essential. If you can demonstrate Redhat expertise along with the Tivoli storage expertise, we’d love to hear from you.
