My client based in Redditch is a leading precision engineering manufacturer, with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Programme Manager to join their business operation.

Working alongside a focussed team you’ll be responsible for ensuring project/ programme deliverables are met in line with requirements for quality, schedule and cost, identifying mitigation plans for identified risks and appropriately escalating issues with senior management, customers and suppliers when necessary.

In addition to this, you’ll be tasked with leading project meetings and overseeing timing schedules and budgets with the aim of improving project profitability and providing accurate reporting to members of senior management.

Simultaneously you’ll have the opportunity to train and develop Project Managers and Engineers as required.

Your background:

My client is keen to find somebody with a strong background in managing complex engineering programmes within an SME environment, with strong leadership experience and a strong sense of customer orientation.

Ideally, you’ll have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering and a PRINCE2 qualification would be preferable.

This is a permanent, full- time position with a starting salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
