Sales Account Manager (SaaS)

Sales Account Manager (SaaS) (J5274) Wokingham, England

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP55000 per annum

Sales Account Manager role responsible for driving new business for SaaS cloud based software as well as increasing uptake of existing clients. 

Main prospects exist in the SME medical devices sector as well as Life Sciences.

Duties include:

1)  Owning new and existing leads qualified by the SaaS Telemarketing / Appointment Setter and opportunities identified through sales and marketing
activities.


2)  Initiating and progressing conversations with customers, identifying key individuals and turning them into real opportunities.


3)  Articulating the SaaS value proposition clearly to customers, mostly by telephone but face to face where required.


4)  Pursuing opportunities to closure.


5)  Providing on-going account management support for customers and identifying opportunities for repeat sales / expansion of their environments.


6)  Liaison with the wider Sales and Marketing team.


7)  Willingness to travel when required by opportunities or other aspects of the role.


8)  Managing relationship with SaaS partner eco-system.


9)  Management responsibility for the SaaS Telemarketing / Appointment Setter.


10) Presentation of sales review metrics to the Senior Management Team on a regular basis.

 

You will need proven experience in a telephone- based sales role, with excellent telephone manner and fluent English language skills.
