Software Developer – C#/ASP.NET/MVC - Kettering

C# Software Developer required for an exciting organisation based in Kettering, Northamptonshire where you will play a key part in building a .NET web applications using the Microsoft stack. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these existing and new applications. This client offers a professional, friendly environment to learn new technologies and work on exciting projects.

Key responsibilities of the role

• Translate user stories into functional web applications
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Help maintain code quality, organisation and automatisation

Key Skills of the role

• Strong knowledge of .NET web framework (ASP.NET webforms or MVC) is a must
• Proficient in C# and strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
• Desirable to have familiarity with various design and architectural patterns

Salary

The salary for this position is between £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
