Graduate IT Support Analyst – Weybridge

Graduate IT Support Analyst required for a leading organisation based in Weybridge, Surrey, where you will provide hands-on IT support for a number of bespoke IT applications. You will support end users of the application and support developers/testers whilst the system is under development.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with excellent communication skills, who’s degree was gained within an IT related subject (computer science, software development etc). If would be preferably if you had some experience of working within IT.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Work with the internal IT team to become a subject matter expert in the bespoke applications that are currently used by clients/under development.
• Create user documentation for the new applications to aid ongoing support requirements.
• Support developers, testers and end users whilst the system is under development. Support duties will included testing, documentation and application deployment.
• Provide end-users support of the applications in a professional/courteous manner.
• Assist the IT training team in the creation of training materials that limit the need for interactive support.

Key Skills of the role

• The role would suit a recent graduate in software engineering, computer science or an IT focused degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
• Ideal to have experience in data analysis/SQL.
• Excellent customer service ethic and the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn.

Salary

The salary for this position is between £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on the experience, plus benefits.
