IT Software Developer – FileMaker – Walsall

IT Software Developer required for a national organisation, based in Walsall, where you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and supporting existing in-house FileMaker applications & developing solutions/improvements for existing and future business requirements. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual, with FileMaker support/development experience, to make a big difference in an established organisation. The role would also suit a talented developer with .NET experience.

FileMaker/.NET/Apple/Development/Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop enhancements for existing FileMaker applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications.
• Design and create simple, modern, and intuitive user interfaces.
• Write clean, readable, and easily maintainable code.
• Collaborate with the business, business analysts, project managers and other developers during all phases of the SDLC.

FileMaker/.NET/Apple/Development/Opportunity

Key Skills of the role

• FileMaker development experience or transferable skills (for example software development experience using programming languages such as Microsoft .NET).
• Good working knowledge of database design, creation and maintenance.
• Ability to quickly identify the cause of application issues and develop enhancements for existing applications.
• Thorough with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to see beyond explicit assignment and identify broader, longer term opportunities and benefits.
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £30,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits.
