Test Lead – Manual/ISEB/ISTQB - Central London
Test Lead required for a leading organisation that is currently undergoing an exciting IT transformation. Within the position, you will play a key part in leading testing, driving process improvement and ensuring a robust approach to IT QA within the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst/Experienced Test Analyst who is on the look out for their first step into Test Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting into the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating test activities in line with the agreed test strategy.
- Produce test documentation including approach, plan, completion reports for multiple pieces of work in line with the agreed test strategy.
- Develop effective working relationships with internal stakeholders both in and outside IT and use these to embed testing into the culture of the organisation.
- Task management for a small team of test analysts, across multiple projects.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and third parties, using these to ensure the delivery of quality testing solutions in a timely fashion.
Key Skills of the role
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies
- Experience in a formal testing role; Manual testing experience is essential, automation understanding/knowledge would be desirable.
- Experience of the planning, co-ordination and running of all test activities.
- Highly developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple pieces of work concurrently.
Salary
The salary for this position is up to £47,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits.
