Senior IT Project Manager – Application/SDLC - Coventry

Senior IT Project Manager required for a leading organisation based in Coventry, where you will be required to successfully deliver large, complex IT projects and programmes within a change environment.

The ideal candidate will have application/development project management experience, and extensive experience working with an Agile/SCRUM environment.

Key Responsibilities of the role

Plan and proactively manage projects, or workstreams, through the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to implementation and closure.

Identify and management stakeholders effectively, anticipating points of resistance, and developing plans to mitigate or address the concerns.

Ensure that the appropriate governance and risk management is achieved through application of project management standards.

Management of third party resources on projects, to ensure that products and services provided are fit for purpose.

Ensure that alterations implemented by change result in a positive customer outcome.

Key Skills of the role

Demonstrable project management experience, preferably from a regulatory environment (financial services, utilities, energy etc).

Application/development project management experience, desirable to have API and/or authentication and authorisation solutions experience.

Experience working within IT change, since the role will require working closely with the Change Programme Manager to ensure that desired outcomes are achieved.

Extensive experience managing stakeholders at all levels, and experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies.

PRINCE2, MSP or APM project management qualification.

Salary 

The salary for this position is between £50,000 - £62,000 per annum depending on experience
