IT Project Manager – Birmingham

IT Project Manager required for an established organisation based in Birmingham, where you will be responsible for the project management of a variety of services/solutions implementations across a diverse range of clients.

The ideal candidate will have extensive IT Project Management experience, and will preferably have experience gained in a managed services, IT Value Added Reseller or Systems Integrator organisation.

Key Responsibilities of the role

• Overall project management of the implementation of varied solutions and services across a diverse range of clients.
• Direct, manage and motivate project teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain agreed project plans and detailed stage plans.
• Plan and manage the deployment of resources to meet project milestones.
• Build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project.

Key Skills of the role

• Demonstrable IT Project Management experience, preferably gained within a managed services provide, IT Value Added Reseller or System Integrator.
• Experience of IT Project delivery to public sector organisation is desirable for this role.
• Proven experience with Project Management methodologies, and ideally qualified to Prince2 Practitioner level.
• Awareness of business processes, constructing ROI and business cases, and identifying and defining benefits.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation and demonstration skills to executives and stakeholders.

Salary

The salary for this position is up to £45,000 per annum, plus car allowance, dependent on the experience
