IT Service Desk Analyst – Weybridge
IT Service Desk Analyst required for a leading organisation based in Weybridge, Surrey, where you will provide hands-on IT support for a number of bespoke IT applications. You will support end users of the application and support developers/testers whilst the system is under development.
The ideal candidate will have some service desk experience, or will be a recent graduate, and will have some understanding/experience of data analysis/SQL.
Key Responsibilities of the role
- Work with the internal IT team to become a subject matter expert in the bespoke applications that are currently used by clients/under development.
- Create user documentation for the new applications to aid ongoing support requirements.
- Support developers, testers and end users whilst the system is under development. Support duties will included testing, documentation and application deployment.
- Provide end-users support of the applications in a professional/courteous manner.
- Assist the IT training team in the creation of training materials that limit the need for interactive support.
Key Skills of the role
- Commercial experience in a service desk role, application support experience would be ideal.
- The role would also suit a recent graduate in software engineering/computer science experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data analysis/SQL.
- Excellent customer service ethic and the ability to work with a diverse range of people.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
Salary
The salary for this position is up to £22,000 per annum, dependent on the experience, plus benefits
